Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran Publishes New Study on Nursing Interventions to Support Adolescent Bullying Victims
A new publication led by Erviana Zefanya Agatha from the Bachelor’s Program in Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, and a team explores effective nursing strategies to improve the psychological well-being of adolescents who have experienced bullying.
The study, titled “Beyond the Trauma: A Scoping Review of Nursing Interventions for Improving Psychological Well-being in Adolescent Bullying Victims”, systematically examined evidence from international literature to identify interventions that work. The review analyzed 28,092 records and distilled insights from 11 high-quality studies.
The findings reveal that creative approaches, self-development techniques, and social support programs significantly improve resilience, emotional stability, and recovery outcomes for adolescent bullying victims. These results underscore the critical role of nurses in delivering multifaceted, tailored interventions that address both psychological and social dimensions of bullying.
By promoting emotional healing and resilience, this research aligns with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education), contributing to safer, healthier learning environments for young people.
