The organization of Nursing High Education of Universitas Padjadjaran consists of two study programs, which are academic and profession program. In academic program, the graduates will receive bachelor degree of S.Kep.

Vision of the Study Program

“Menjadi pusat kajian ilmu dan pengembangan profesi keperawatan dengan keunggulan pada  bidang keperawatan paliatif secara holistik dan terintegrasi dengan aspek pariwisata dalam bidang kesehatan melalui pendekatan interdisiplin pada tahun 2025”

Mission of the Study Program

1. Organizing quality learning programs, based on superior, chivalrous and creative characters in accordance with Unpad's distinctive character, namely Jawara (Jagoan, Wani, Rancage);
2. Integrating research results into the learning process with holistic palliative nursing excellence that is integrated with tourism aspects in the health sector through an interdisciplinary approach;
3. Integrating research results and learning processes in community service programs, especially through holistic palliative nursing services that are integrated with tourism aspects in health with an interdisciplinary approach;
4. Develop a network of cooperation with other institutions from within and outside the country to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education;
5. Produce graduates with superior competency outcomes in palliative nursing that are integrated with tourism aspects in health to improve the quality of human life;
6. Produce graduates who have scientific competence by paying attention to ethical and legal aspects, professional nursing practice, leadership and service management, conducting research and education, developing self-quality and professionalism.

Objective

To educate students through learning process in order to possess attitudes and skills as follows :

1. Having the spirit of Pancasila, and maintaining and developing the high personality integrity, responsibility, trustable attitude, and being attentive to other human beings with the ethics of nursing.
2. Mastering the basic of science scientifically in order to be able to think, behave, and act as a scientist.
3. Functioning as the creative and productive member of society, open minded, and responsive toward the dynamic and the advance of science and technology of nursing and other health problems as well, and also educating and leading the society to the same direction of attitude.
4. Continually improving and developing the self potential in the field of nursing based on the self interest by improving education, selecting the suitable sources of education, guiding to the lifetime education.
5. Mastering the basic science and the knowledge and methodology of nursing in order to apply the science and technology for the improvement the quality of health services, which include :
   • Knowing, outlining, and arranging the health problem priority in society nowadays and in the future, and formulating the solutions toward those problems through the planning of programs which is promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative.
   • Arranging the solution plans of the health problem based on the ethics of nursing and being attentive to aspect of physic, mental, socio culture, and spiritual of client through the process of observation, identification, and formulation of clients’ problems.
   • Developing and spreading out the health science, especially the science of nursing in order to solve the client’s problem health individually, society and health service system by participating in education and research.

Profile

Brief History

The nursing study program is one of 5 study programs held at the PSDKU Pangandaran campus, Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) which was established in 2016. The presence of Unpad through PSDKU is a tangible manifestation of 'Unpad nyaah ka Jabar' with the hope of helping to encourage progress Pangandaran Regency through academic intermediaries (education).

In the five years since its establishment until now, many contributions have been made to solve problems in Pangandaran Regency. This achievement can indicate that the learning process at PSDKU Pangandaran has been running professionally.

Characteristics

The tri dharma activities which include education, research and community service at PSDKU Pangandaran focus on the field of palliative nursing holistically and integrated with tourism aspects in the health sector through an interdisciplinary approach.

Admissions

Program Studi Sarjana Keperawatan Kampus Pangandaran merupakan salah satu program studi yang ada di dalam lingkungan Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Padjadjaran. Program Studi Sarjana Keperawatan Kampus Pangandaran merupakan penyelenggaraan pendidikan tinggi Keperawatan di Universitas Padjadjaran yang terletak di Kampus Pangandaran. Program pendidikan ini terdiri dari dua program yaitu akademik dan profesi. Untuk program akademik lulusan akan mendapatkan gelar sarjana (S.Kep.) dan untuk lulusan profesi akan mendapatkan gelar profesi (Ners.). Kedua program tersebut diselenggarakan secara berkesinambungan. Mahasiswa diharuskan menempuh kedua program tersebut untuk dapat berkarir sebagai perawat profesional. 

Program Studi Sarjana Keperawatan Unpad Kampus Pangandaran melaksanakan kegiatan Tri Dharma perguruan tinggi dengan kekhasan kepada health tourism.Untuk mendaftar menjadi Calon Mahasiswa Program Studi Sarjana Keperawatan Unpad, terdapat beberapa jalur yang dapat ditempuh, yaitu SNMPTN, SBMPTN, Sarjana Jalur Prestasi, dan Sarjana Jalur Mandiri. Calon Mahasiswa dapat mengakses informasi melalui laman http://smup.unpad.ac.id/ dan bagi pendaftar jalur mandiri dapat membuat akun melalui laman https://pendaftaran.unpad.ac.id/daftar.

Excellence

Program Studi S-1 Keperawatan di PSDKU Unpad K. Pangandaran yang telah terakreditasi B oleh LAM-PTKes ini memiliki kekhasan terkait dengan Keperawatan Pariwisata yang didasari oleh konsep Health Tourism. Health Tourism memiliki makna bahwa tujuan orang datang ke suatu wilayah untuk mendapatkan layanan kesehatan (Liang et al., 2017). Hal ini dapat menjadi sebuah peluang karena PSDKU Unpad K. Pangandaran berada di daerah tujuan wisata domestik maupun mancanegara. Selain untuk menjadikan ciri khas Program Studi S-1 Keperawatan yang ada di Kampus Pangandaran, pengaplikasian Health Tourism dalam kurikulum kekhasannya dapat meningkatkan peluang kerja sama internasional.
