The Master of Nursing (M.Kep) degree will be awarded to those who complete the nursing master’s program at Universitas Padjadjaran.

In accordance with the professional career development of nurses in Indonesia, as stated by the Asosiasi Institusi Pendidikan Ners Indonesia (AIPNI) and Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia (PPNI), the Master of Nursing program held at the Faculty of Nursing aim to:

1. Produce Nursing Master human resources who are faithful and devoted to God, noble, cultured, scientific, critical, logical, sensitive to the health problems and needs of the community, ethically rational, responsible, as well as academically and professionally capable in their work environment.
2. Create impactful contributions to health development through the roles and functions of nurses as developers of nursing science (researcher), care providers, educators, managers, and community leaders both at national and international levels by being imbued with the three basic characteristics of nursing, namely holism, humanism, and care. holism, humanism and care.
3. Produce Nursing Master human resources who are able to compete in the job market for the benefit of the nation at the regional, national, and international levels.

Referring to the above, the competencies of Nursing Masters that is cultivated at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran consist of the main competencies, supporting competencies, and associated competencies.

In detail, the competencies of Nursing Masters are described as follows.

Main Competencies:

1. Able to develop research as the foundation to improve nursing science and technology.
2. Able to develop evidence based practice in clinical and community nursing areas.
3. Able to manage clients in critical and community nursing areas by considering the legal and ethical aspects as well as policies at local, national, and international levels.
4. Able to manage nursing care in both clinical and community settings by considering the legal and ethical aspects as well as policies at local, national, and international levels.
5. Able to manage the nursing learning process according to the areas taught, both at the academic and professional levels in clinical and community settings.
6. Able to act as an innovator in the scope of critical nursing to improve the quality of critical nursing care.

Supporting Competencies:

1. Able to actively participate in emergency and disaster care and management.
2. Able to use information and communication technologies in the nursing area in accordance with the designated profile.

1. Magister Keperawatan Kritis (40 SKS)
   Konsep dasar Keperawatan Kritis, Pengkajian kritis lanjut, Keperawatan kritis lanjut, Analisisi keperawatan komprehensif.
2. Magister Keperawatan Komunitas (40 SKS)
   Epidemiologi, Administrasi dan Kebijakan Program Kesehatan, keperawatan keluarga, Analisisi keperawatan Komunitas komprehensif
3. Magister Keperawatan Medikal Bedah (40 SKS)
   Pengkajian keperawatan medikal bedah lanjut, Teori Keperawatan Medikal Bedah Lanjut, Inovasi Kesehatan dan Teknologi dalam Keperawatan Medikal Bedah, Analisisi keperawatan medikal bedah komprehensif, Inovasi Kesehatan dan Teknologi dalam Keperawatan Medikal Bedah.
4. Magister Keperawatan Jiwa (40 SKS)
   Konsep dan Teori Keperawatan Jiwa lanjut, Pengkajian dan Praktek Keperawatan Jiwa Lanjut, Keperawatan Jiwa Masyarakat dengan Pendekatan Recovery, Terapi Lanjut dalam Keperawatan Jiwa, Analisis Keperawatan Jiwa komprehensif.
5. Magister Manajemen Keperawatan (40 SKS)
   Manajemen pelayanan dan sistem Asuhan Keperawatan, Manajemen Strategis, Manajemen Sumber Daya Keperawatan, Manajemen Mutu dan Keselamatan, Internship Kepemimpinan dan Manajemen keperawatan
6. Magister Keperawatan Anak (40 SKS)
   Konsep dasar keperawatan anak Lanjut, Pengkajian keperawatan anak lanjut, Keperawatan Anak Lanjut, Analisis keperawatan anak comprehensive.
7. Magister Keperawatan Maternitas (40 SKS)
   Konsep Dasar Keperawatan Maternitas, Pengkajian keperawatan maternitas lanjut, keperawatan maternitas Lanjut, Analisis Keperawatan Maternitas Komprehensif.

Masa studi untuk Program Magister Keperawatan dapat ditempuh dengan target 1.5 tahun. Jumlah satuan kredit semester (SKS) Kurikulum Magister Keperawatan Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Padjadjaran sebanyak 40 SKS dengan rincian Kurikulum Inti Asosiasi Institusi Pendidikan Ners Indonesia (AIPNI) sebanyak 28 SKS dan Kurikulum Institusi sebanyak 12 SKS.

Mata Kuliah Program Studi Magister Keperawatan

1. Indonesian citizens or foreigners with the approval of the Director General of Higher Education.
2. A 3x4 sized coloured photograph (uploaded when registering online).
3. Have a diploma of undergraduate nursing (the photocopy of the diploma has been legalized).
4. Grade Point Average (minimum of 2.75 and the academic transcript has been legalized).
5. Have a certificate of Academic Ability Test (Tes Kemampuan Akademik [TPA]) from Unpad Psychology Center,
   TPA Bappenas, or other government agencies.
6. Have an English Proficiency Test (Tes Kemampuan Bahasa Inggris [TKBI]) from the Language Center
   of Faculty of Cultural Sciences Unpad, ELT Unpad, TOEFL ITP, TOEFL IBT, or IELTS.
7. Research proposal summary (approximately 350 words).
8. Recommendation from 1 professor or; head lecturer with a doctoral degree or; a supervisor.
9. Filled out the SMUP registration payment form at the bank appointed by Universitas Padjadjaran.
