    The Master of Nursing Study Program is one of the study programs within the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran. The Master of Nursing study program organizes the education based on the establishment by Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No. 1520/D/T/2009, dated August 28, 2009. The implementation of the Master of Nursing Study Program began in September 2009, with the specializations of Critical Nursing and Community Nursing. Then in 2012, the specialization of Medical-Surgical Nursing was opened, followed by the opening of the specializations of Mental Health Nursing and Nursing Management in 2013. The specializations of Pediatric Nursing were then opened in 2015, and Maternity Nursing in 2017.

    Vision of the Study Program

    To become a Master of Nursing study program that has a global reputation and an impact on society through the excellence of holistic, integrated, and sustainable disaster nursing in improving the health status and quality of life of the community.

    Mission of the Study Program

    1. Developing a Master of Nursing education system that is in accordance with the demands of health service needs.
    2. Developing a research center of merit in the field of nursing. Making the Master of Nursing Study Program a referral center for the development of nursing services.
    3. Organizing education (teaching, research, development of science, and community service) that satisfy the demands of the community that benefits from higher education services.
    4. Organizing higher education that is regionally competitive and relevant to the demands of higher education service users in advancing the development of intellect and community welfare.
    5. Organizing professional and accountable education management to improve the image of higher education.
    6. Forming academic people who uphold the nobility of local and national culture in the diversity of global cultures.
    7. Producing graduates with outstanding competency outcomes in holistic, integrated, and sustainable disaster nursing, in improving the health status and quality of life of the community.
    8. Developing a network of collaboration both at home and abroad to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
    9. Producing graduates who have integrated competencies in carrying out ethical, legal, and professional nursing practice, leadership and management, research and education, self-development, and professionalism.

    Aims
    1. The implementation of a quality learning program based on excellence and resilience, embodying the character of Jawara.
    2. To produce graduates with a Pancasila spirit who possess, uphold, and develop high personal integrity, a strong sense of responsibility, trustworthiness, as well as care and respect for others in accordance with nursing ethics.
    3. The implementation of a learning process integrated with research outcomes in disaster nursing excellence, carried out in a holistic, integrated, and sustainable manner to improve community health status and quality of life.
    4. To produce competent and competitive graduates in the field of nursing science according to their specialization, both at the national and regional levels, who are creative, problem-sensitive, and culturally sensitive.
    5. To produce nursing research outputs as a basis for problem-solving and policy formulation at both local and national levels, for the development of nursing concepts and science.
    6. To produce situational and/or needs assessments related to nursing services and education in order to improve the quality of care in both clinical and community settings.
    7. The implementation of community service integrated into the learning process through the application of science and technology.
    8. The establishment of collaborations and networks with institutions both domestically and internationally.
    9. The production of graduates with excellent competencies in disaster nursing, carried out holistically, integratively, and sustainably, to improve community health status and quality of life.
    10. The production of graduates with integrated competencies in practicing ethics and legal aspects, professional nursing practice, leadership and management, research and education, as well as self-development and professionalism.
    Degree

    Graduates of the Master of Nursing program at Universitas Padjadjaran, upon completion of their studies, will be awarded the degree of Master of Nursing (M.Kep).

    Lulusan magister keperawatan mampu berperan aktif dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan keperawatan/Kesehatan dan pengembangan profesi keperawatan, melalui desiminasi/komunikasi hasil pemikiran, dan argumen saintifik, hasil kajian dan hasil penelitian melalui media masa, journal ilmiah kepada masyarakat akademik dan atau masyarakat luas.

    Lulusan program magister keperawatan mampu mengembangkan penelitian dalam lingkup keperawatan/kesehatan guna menghasilkan produk penelitian inovatif dan teruji sebagai basis untuk penyelesaian masalah, pengembangan keilmuan dan teknologi keperawatan/kesehatan dan perumusan kebijakan.

    Lulusan magister keperawatan mampu mengembangkan tata kelola pelayanan keperawatan diberbagai tatanan layanan kesehatan dengan pendekatan proses manajemen melalui pertimbangan aspek legal etis serta kebijakan baik ditingkat lokal maupun nasional.

    Merencanakan dan memberikan keperawatan pada individu,  keluarga, kelompok, dan masyarakat dalam rentang sehat sakit di tatanan klinik, keluarga, dan komunitas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dasar manusia secara komprehensif dan berbasis bukti.

    Master's Curriculum

    Requirements for Students
    1. Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) atau Warga Negara Asing (WNA).
    2. Lulusan program sarjana S1 yang terakreditasi oleh BAN PT/LAM-PTKes.
    3. Peserta harus memiliki sertifikat Tes Kemampuan Akademik (TKA) dan Tes Kemampuan Bahasa Inggris (TKBI) dari lembaga yang diakui Unpad, tidak ada ketentuan score minimal untuk TKBI dan TKA.
    4. Sertifikat Tes Kemampuan Akademik (TKA) dari Pusat Inovasi Psikologi Universitas Padjadajaran (PIP Unpad) atau Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) institusi penyelenggara resmi lainnya yang diakui UNPAD, yaitu PLTI Himpsi; UGM; UNAIR; UI; BAPPENAS.
    5. Sertifikat Kemampuan Bahasa Inggris dari English Language Test (ELT) / Tes Kemampuan Bahasa Inggris (TKBI) UNPAD yang masih berlaku (maksimal 2 tahun) atau tes kemampuan Bahasa Inggris dari institusi penyelenggara resmi yang diakui UNPAD yaitu:
