The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran (FKep Unpad), as the second oldest nursing education institution in Indonesia, recognizes its responsibility in contributing to health development, particularly in improving healthcare services in Indonesia through the advancement of human resources, nursing science, and technology. Since 2009, FKep Unpad has successfully developed a Master of Nursing Science program with various specializations, which has also been accredited with an “A” rating. Furthermore, FKep Unpad holds great potential to accommodate the aspirations of master’s graduates in nursing who wish to pursue higher education at the doctoral level. Therefore, it is timely for the Faculty of Nursing Unpad to establish a research-based Doctoral Program in Nursing, which is expected to enhance the quality and quantity of nursing educators, researchers, and policymakers in Indonesia, ultimately contributing to the improvement of healthcare services.
The research-based Doctoral Program is an educational program oriented toward producing nursing scholars who are capable of developing and generating discoveries in the field of nursing science. Graduates of the doctoral nursing program are expected, at a minimum, to master the philosophy of science in the field of nursing knowledge and skills.

“Menjadi Program Studi Doktor Keperawatan berbasis riset yang unggul, inovatif dan terkemuka dalam pengembangan ilmu dan teknologi keperawatan yang holistik, mendukung pada pelayanan keperawatan yang berkelanjutan (continuity of care) serta berdaya saing internasional tahun 2030”
Mission of the Study Program
- Menyelenggarakan tata kelola yang baik (Good University Governance) dalam pengelolaan Program Studi Doktor Keperawatan.
- Menyelenggarakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi secara terintegrasi berbasis riset dengan mengacu pada standar pendidikan tinggi nasional keperawatan yang mampu memenuhi tuntutan masyarakat, khususnya kebutuhan akan pelayanan keperawatan yang berkelanjutan dan berdaya saing internasional.
- Menyelenggarakan riset keperawatan yang inovatif dalam pengembangan ilmu dan teknologi keperawatan yang holistik dan pemecahan masalah keperawatan yang berdaya saing regional untuk mendukung pelayanan keperawatan yang berkelanjutan (continuity of care).
- Menyelenggarakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis hasil riset dan pengembangan inovasi untuk membantu menyelesaikan masalah kesehatan masyarakat
- Membentuk insan akademik yang menjunjung tinggi keluhuran budaya lokal dan nasional dalam keragaman budaya dunia.
- Menyelenggarakan kerjasama dalam dan luar negeri untuk penguatan penyelenggaraan riset keperawatan yang inovatif dalam pengembangan ilmu dan teknologi keperawatan yang holistik.
Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan
Kurikulum Program Doktor Keperawatan Fakultas Keperawatan Unpad memiliki Capaian pembelajaran setara KKNI level 9. Hal ini sesuai Peraturan Presiden No. 8 Tahun 2012 pasal 5 tentang KKNI yang menyatakan bahwa penyetaraan capaian pembelajaran (CP) yang dihasilkan melalui Pendidikan, menyatakan lulusan Program Doktor Keperawatan memiliki Capaian pembelajaran (CP) setara KKNI level 9. Capaian pembelajaran adalah kemampuan yang diperoleh melalui internalisasi pengetahuan, sikap, ketrampilan, kompetensi, and akumulasi pengalaman kerja (Peraturan Presiden RI No. 8 Tahun 2012 pasal 1 ayat 2). CPL pada Kurikulum Program Doktor Keperawatan -FKEP 2024 dirumuskan sesuai dengan Permendikbud Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 tentang SNPT.
Objective
- Terselenggaranya manajemen kelembagaan Program Studi Doktor Keperawatan yang profesional and akuntabel.
- Terselenggaranya Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi secara terintegrasi berbasis riset dengan mengacu pada standar pendidikan tinggi nasional keperawatan yang mampu memenuhi tuntutan masyarakat, khususnya kebutuhan akan pelayanan keperawatan yang berkelanjutan serta berdaya saing internasional.
- Terselenggaranya riset keperawatan yang inovatif dalam pengembangan ilmu and teknologi keperawatan holistik, khususnya kebutuhan akan pelayanan keperawatan yang berkelanjutan yang berdaya saing internasional.
- Terselenggaranya pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis hasil riset and pengembangan inovasi untuk membantu menyelesaikan masalah kesehatan masyarakat, khususnya kebutuhan akan pelayanan keperawatan yang berkelanjutan untuk mencapai kualitas hidup yang optimal.
- Terbentuknya insan akademik yang menjunjung tinggi keluhuran budaya lokal and nasional dalam keragaman budaya dunia.
- Terselenggaranya kerjasama dalam and luar negeri untuk penguatan penyelenggaraan riset keperawatan yang inovatif.

Persyaratan dan Pendaftaran
- Warga Negara Indonesia atau Warga Negara Asing yang mendapat persetujuan Kemenristekdikti atau Kemendikbud.
- Memiliki ijazah Pendidikan Magister atau Magister and Spesialis yang terakreditasi oleh BAN PT/LAM-PTKes.
- Memiliki IPK minimal 3.
- Memiliki Tes Kemampuan Akademik (TKA) paling sedikit 500 yang dibuktikan dengan sertifikat hasil tes yang diselenggarakan oleh lembaga penyelenggara tes yang diakui Unpad and masih berlaku maksimum 2 (dua) tahun dari tanggal dikeluarkannya sertifikat.
