Jatinangor, July 1, 2025 – The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, has officially conferred degrees to 34 prospective professional nurses during the Yudisium ceremony for the Bachelor of Nursing program, held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. The graduates comprise 22 students from the Jatinangor campus and 12 from the Pangandaran campus.
This Yudisium marks a significant milestone in the development of highly qualified human resources in nursing and reflects the Faculty’s continued contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education.
In her remarks, Dr. Windy Rakhmawati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Research, emphasized that graduates from the Faculty of Nursing must be equipped to address global health challenges and actively contribute to improving public health, both within healthcare facilities and in community settings.
“Nursing graduates are key agents in ensuring inclusive and quality healthcare access. This Yudisium is not merely a graduation ceremony—it signifies the readiness of professionals who are committed to serve with knowledge, empathy, and social responsibility,” Dr. Windy affirmed.
Through a competency-based curriculum, the Faculty of Nursing remains steadfast in its mission to expand access to high-quality higher education (SDG 4) and to produce graduates who can meaningfully contribute to improving community health (SDG 3).
The Pangandaran campus, as part of the university’s regional expansion, plays a strategic role in democratizing nursing education and enhancing the capacity of healthcare services, especially in coastal and tourism-driven areas.
Guided by the spirit of “Excellence in Human Science and Care,” the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran is committed to continuous innovation and collaboration in nurturing graduates who are not only academically and professionally excellent but also deeply committed to sustainability and humanity.
