Jatinangor, 6 Maret 2025 – The Faculty of Nursing at Padjadjaran University (FKep Unpad) is once again holding a Ramadan program by launching a "Sharing Takjil" (Tax Break) and "Quran Reading Together" program on the Jatinangor campus. This program aims to strengthen Islamic brotherhood and foster a sense of togetherness on campus. Every afternoon, students gather for this activity, making it a valuable opportunity for sharing and spiritual reflection during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Takjil Sharing activity took place thanks to the collaborative efforts of all departments at the Faculty of Nursing, Padjadjaran University (FKep Unpad), including Medical-Surgical Nursing, Emergency and Critical Care Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Primary Care Nursing, and Community Nursing. Each department took turns providing the iftar snacks, ensuring the program ran daily throughout Ramadan. The sense of togetherness was further enhanced by a group Quran recitation session before breaking the fast, where students, lecturers, and educational staff read the Quran, listened to a short sermon, and discussed spiritual values.
This program not only strengthens ties but also supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 2: Zero Hunger, by ensuring students living far from their families can still enjoy iftar meals. The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Padjadjaran University, expressed his appreciation for this initiative as part of the development of students' character, excelling academically and socially. With a spirit of togetherness, the Faculty of Health Sciences, Padjadjaran University, is committed to continuing this positive tradition, producing professional healthcare workers who also care about food security and community welfare.
