The Impact of Health Promotion Using LeafletMedia on Mothers’ Knowledge of the EarlyStimulation of Toddlers’ Development andGrowth

A team of researchers from the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Padjadjaran, led by Iwan Shalahuddin, SKM.,S.Kep.,M.M.Kes., studied how health education using leaflets impacted mothers’ knowledge of early childhood stimulation for toddlers aged 1–3 years. The result? A significant improvement in mothers’ ability to recognize developmental milestones and apply age-appropriate stimulation techniques 📖

Notably, mothers of toddlers aged 1.5–3 years showed clear increases in post-education scores, highlighting the leaflet’s effectiveness in rural community settings

This simple intervention contributes to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education) by empowering families with accessible and practical knowledge.
