These adjustments can significantly impact students\u2019 mental health, self-esteem, and quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a recent study, led by Maria Komariah, S.Kp.,M.Kes., Ph.D. and colleagues from the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, An-Najah National University, Palestine, Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand, Universitas \u2018Aisyiyah Bandung,, conducted a cross-sectional survey of 300 first-semester nursing students from multiple nursing education centers in Indonesia. Using validated instruments, WHOQOL-BREF, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and Perceived Stress Scale, the team analyzed the relationships between health status, self-esteem, stress, and quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Results showed that students with better health status and realistic alignment between expectations, goals, and standards reported higher quality of life. Self-esteem emerged as a crucial factor, strongly associated with positive outcomes, even for students experiencing moderate stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These findings contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by promoting mental health awareness and SDG 4 (Quality Education) through enhanced student support systems.
