Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran Researchers Map Global Factors Influencing Nurses\u2019 Work-Life Balance Through a Socio-Ecological Lens<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Researchers from the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran led by I Gede Angga Ariesta Widayana, Hana Rizmadewi Agustina,S.Kp.,MN, Ph.D., and Dr. Ati Surya Mediawati,S.Kp.,M.Kep., have conducted a socio-ecological scoping review titled \u201cFactors Associated with Work Life Balance Among Nurses in Hospitals: A Socio-Ecological Scoping Review.\u201d This study synthesizes evidence from 12 international studies spanning Indonesia, Japan, Uganda, Bangladesh, Turkey, Spain, Thailand, Malaysia, Jordan, South Korea, and Australia, providing a comprehensive understanding of how individual, interpersonal, community, and organisational factors affect nurses\u2019 ability to balance professional demands with personal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The review, conducted following the Arksey and O\u2019Malley framework and PRISMA-ScR guidelines, highlights the need for policies that foster flexible work arrangements, enhance well-being, and provide strong social support systems for nursing professionals. Such measures are essential not only for nurse retention and satisfaction but also for ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This research contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 5: Gender Equality, by advocating for equitable, healthy, and sustainable work environments for nurses worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
