A new scoping review led by researchers from the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) explores the state of palliative care education for preregistration nursing students in the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Led by Hana Rizmadewi Agustina,S.Kp.,MN, Ph.D., and colleagues form Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran, in collaboration with College of Nursing, Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, Kuwait, Universitas Padjadjaran Hospital, the study emphasizes the urgent need to integrate core palliative care competencies, holistic care, conceptual knowledge, communication, collaboration, and emotional preparedness, into nursing curricula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The review, which analyzed 23 articles published between 2012 and 2023, identified several challenges, including limited resources, insufficiently trained educators, and inadequate clinical placements.
