Students from the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, have once again achieved a notable accomplishment. The student organization Padjadjaran Nursing Corps (PNC) has successfully secured funding for the 2025 Organizational Capacity Strengthening Program for Student Organizations (PPK Ormawa), granted by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa), Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through their initiative titled \"Permata Siaga: Independent and Responsive Perception, Ready to Anticipate Household Accidents,\" PNC brings a strong mission of empowering women in Hegarmanah Village, Sumedang Regency. The program is designed to enhance awareness and skills among rural women in preventing and managing domestic accidents\u2014a common but often overlooked cause of injury in household settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This program is mentored by Ms. Ristina Mirwanti, S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep., who actively supports the integration of community engagement and community-based nursing empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This achievement not only reflects the innovative spirit of nursing students at Universitas Padjadjaran in serving communities, but also directly contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, expresses its full appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the PNC team and the faculty advisor who have successfully transformed this idea into a real and impactful community-based program.\n\nIt is hoped that \u201cPermata Siaga\u201d will serve as an educational and inspirational model in strengthening the role of women as key agents in creating safe and emergency-ready household environments.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
